Python's Features:
-Incredibly powerful
-for all platforms, including Palm and Phones
-Easy to learn
-light and versatile
-quick loading of applications

C++ features
-well known
-well documented
-Very powerful
-for most Platforms, Windows, Dos, Unix
-harder to learn
-quick loading applications

im learning python its well structured and less OOP than C++ making it easier and quicker to learn

where did my comment go?
anyway, python in itself is a slow language. you can hide that up tho with an engine that use C++ libs and uses python to control those libs, like panda
